PayMaya Experience

Recently I've been looking for a replacement for my More Fun Visa Card since it was expired already. And as per Bank of the Philippine Islands, you cannot renew a prepaid visa card BUT you can get a new one. I still have my balance though, but they told me that you can get it upon request on your branch and that's one of good thing to know.

I looked for an alternative and ended up searching PayMaya. PayMaya is more convenient since you can get your card number on the spot just after registering. You only have to download the App from Appstore/ Google Store then you can have your VIRTUAL card already. Check out :: PayMaya

I'm actually running out of time because I've added an additional kilos for my baggage and I need to pay for the additional amount as soon as possible. (No one wants to pay a double amount at the airport, right? :D) So I took a risk using PayMaya even though it's my first time using it. Just imagine putting up a big amount online and being unsure of what you're actually doing. So to cut the story short, it was a successful transaction.

How To Use PayMaya?

The quickest, the most convenient and the easiest way is loading up your card in any 7-11 stores. Just ask the 711 employee how to use their kiosk for PayMaya. Make sure you have your money prepared. Enter the amount you wish to load up then your phone number (the one you provided to register on the app), wait for the receipt then present it to the cashier together with the money.

You can also select your preferred load-up partners like Robinson's Department Stores, The SM Store, BDO, Smart Padala and Smart Money. 

Can I load-up my friend's PayMaya account?

Yes. That's what I like about PayMaya, you can load-up for others. You must have their phone number they used for their PayMaya account. And after that they can thank you and pay you later.

Remember that I'm talking about my visa virtual card. Anyone can have their own virtual card after registering which includes your name, account number, validity and CVV2. Do NOT share the photo of your card anywhere.
